He didn't look anything like I'd imagine him to. I close my eyes now trying to recall his appearance, but my memory of the dream has grown more and more vague with time. I remember his brightness, the light, that enveloped me, and comforted me. His appearance made me joyful.
"Lord," I asked, my voice quivering, "Why are you here?"
He reached out with a smile and answered, "Do not be afraid." &nbs
